Hydro Excavation - Non Destructive Digging

Hydro Excavation or Non Destructive Digging (NDD) is one the safest forms of excavation used in Australia and around the world. Hydro excavation allows Forza Hydro Vac to deliver excavation solutions where traditional excavation may not be the best option. This is typical when minimal environmental impact is required, digging location is challenging or when working near critical assets that cannot be damaged.

Modern worksites have evolved and require more than just excavation. Hydro excavation offers clients reliability, safety and the ability to get on with the job without the hassle of dealing with the logistics of soil on-site.

WHY USE HYDRO EXCAVATION?

Hydro Excavation, Non Destructive Digging (NDD), also known as Vacuum Excavation, is a non destructive method of removing earth. The process uses high-pressure water to break up the soil and transform it into a slurry which is then removed by utilising the vacuum component of our specialised truck.

Hydro excavatin or Non destructive digging has become industry leading as it’s ability to safely expose underground infrastructure whilst maintaining a clean worksite. These attributes have allowed it to become the first option for many of Australia’s construction projects.

The team at Forza Hydro Vac specialises in Hydro Excavation and is committed to ensuring our equipment and staff are of the highest quality.

HOW MUCH DOES HYDRO EXCAVATION COST?

The cost of Hydro Excavation or Non Destructive Digging (NDD) is determined by a variety of factors which may include asset location, waste disposal, ground condition, the number of operators and the projects complexity.

Generally, the cost of hydro excavation is calculated using an hourly rate, multiplied by the number of hours a hydro excavation truck is on-site, and the number of operators. When a hydro excavation truck is first hired, it is hired for a minimum of 4 hours and an additional number of hours applied for travel.

Upon enquiry, the team at Forza Hydro Vac will work to understand your job requirements and how best to tailor a solution for you.
